My name is Laura Hensley. Prior to having four
beautiful girls, I was an Oracle Database Administrator and Lotus Notes
Administrator at a local international company. I worked there for 5
1/2 years, creating, maintaining and upgrading 5 production databases, 15
test databases, along with the e-mail accounts of over 1000 employees, 24
hours a day, 7 days a week.
After having my first daughter, I stayed home to raise her,
building websites on the side. I continue to stay home, building
websites, and work part time for a local electronic commerce company,
Active Business
Network, Inc., as a Software Engineer/website developer.
I love working on the computer, keeping active and up to
date on new technologies, and providing good services at very reasonable
prices. I think everyone should be able to affordably put their
product/service/group on the Internet to keep in touch with the rest of the
group and world. I hope you enjoy my work, and I would love to hear
any feedback you have on any of my sites.
On top of all that, I participate in a 7 year Bible study
through Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). This year we are studying John.
I've already completed Acts, Genesis, Romans, Matthew, and Moses.
I teach 2nd grade Religious Education at St. Vincent de
Paul. This year will be my third year, and I have the privilege to
teach my daughter, Taylor. It is a wonderful blessing to know that I
am helping to shape the spirituality of each of these kids.
