Rosary for Children

This Rosary book was part given to me and part put together by me.  What I did for my children is print out the first two pdf files and put them in a binder with each page in a cover sheet.  Then as we go through the prayers, they are able to flip the pages, see the pictures and read the prayers.  I haven't done the last Rosary with them yet, they are still too young for this, but I wanted to include it for you.

How to pray the Rosary -  basic prayers of the Rosary

Rosary pictures - pictures for each of the mysteries

Rosary line by line, prayer by prayer - More intense Rosary that gives the scripture associated with each mystery and each bead.

**Something cool I heard:  If you start the Rosary and can't finish it in that setting, an Angel will finish it for you.  So, don't be discouraged to start saying the Rosary because you don't have time to finish it or may even fall asleep saying it.  God still hears and  honors your prayers.

Saints and Angels

I love asking the saints to help me.  They act on our behalf, to go before God, and ask God for blessings or His help.

Here are some great websites to guide you to who the saints are when you need their intersession.

ACTS - Tips for Prayer

Say the ACTS:

A - Adore, start by telling God how Great and Powerful He really is.  He is our Savior, our Forgiver, who gives us power to overcome our sinfulness.

C - Confession, confess our sins before God immediately.  It's important to go to Reconciliation also, but we need to ask for forgiveness immediately.

T - Thanks, give thanks to God for all the blessings He has given to you.

S - Supplication, ask God for what you need help with, what you need in your life, what others need.

AMEN!

LSIP - Evangulation

As Catholics, we are called to share our faith with others, and bring them to know Christ.  Here are some simple steps to feel confident in sharing our faith.

L - Listen

S - Share

I - Invite

P - Pray
